Since I lucked into the leadership fray in Canberra last month, I suddenly find myself a commentator on the ensuing federal election.
Crikey has asked me to cast my jaundiced eye over some of the most marginal electorates in our wide brown land and report back to cyberspace. My first foray happened last weekend when I cast my fly into the waters of Townsville, where the seat of Herbert could float either way.
Over the next four weeks, I’ll be visiting Tassie, the dreaded western suburbs of Sydney and who-knows-where else.
